I really liked this book and that is saying something. Why? Over time I have had friends gush over a devotional, saying "Oh you just have to get this one, it's out of this world good." Only to be disappointed time after time. They were nice but they really didn't keep my interest all that much. Don't get me wrong I have run across a handful that I really did enjoy but I usually found them myself. This one was one of the good ones. And there was a friend who not only recommended the book to our prayer group, she also gave several copies to a couple of us. Of course, I thought "oh no, what do I say if I don't enjoy it like she does?". The Mission: What are your possessions? Today, let go. Free up your heart of its earthly possessions. And fill it up with the spiritual and heavenly. The Mission: Prepare the days ahead. Set them apart. Commit them into God’s hands and appoint them for the fulfilling of His purposes.
