Anyone who has a bottle fo the EDT and who is bothered by the somewhat harsh lemony opening will be pleased with this edition: the issue is absolutely fixed, as this one's opening is very fruity, much smoother, and clearly improved. I personally did not think of it as an issue, because it literally lasted 10 minutes max, but I would say that, overall, the scent throughout the entire experience doesn't feel as rough around the edges as it is much better rounded than the EDT, it does feel a tad smokier (I suspect the leather note has something to do with this), and some notes definitely feel like they have been toned down to smoothen and clean up the scent.

BEAST performance. 4 sprays gets me 10-12 hours. Smells fantastic. And there is no 'lemon pledge' smell in the opening. I have never smelt Creed Aventus, but I do smell pineapple and smoky wood that the original Aventus batches were apparently known for. ARMAF Club De Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition Pure Parfum 105 ml

I don't get many compliments...but this has garnered me the most compliments of my entire collection of 50+ colognes. It opens with mostly 30% lemon, 20% cedar, 15% smoke, 15% musk, and 10% pepper. The lemon dissipates a bit in the dry-down as the cedar, smoke, and pepper become more dominant. These notes smell mostly synthetic causing the smoke to seem a bit ashy, the cedar to smell a bit like pencil shavings, and the lemon to smell like a lemon cleaner rather than a fresh lemon. The blend smells nice in the air, but more synthetic and harsh as you get closer, including in the dry-down. Of all the cheap Aventus recreations, I think this smells second best after Mont Blanc Explorer. This, the Limited Edition Parfum, is to my mind classic Aventus in 3D with added steroids: one spray blooms a gorgeous bubble that projects in the cool indoors while becoming a much larger bubble in the super heated dry outdoors of where I reside in Southern New Mexico.

I have two other scents I can wear all day that don’t make me feel like I am wearing an ‘after shave’ or ‘cologne’ to get me noticed, but just make me smell good. This is now another. Nothing potent, nothing harsh, nothing chemical and nothing like 90% of men would be wearing. For info these are creed green Irish tweed and Tom ford beau de jour (two sprays max). Despite its affordable price, Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition Parfum Armaf is a fragrance that is designed to impress. Right off the bat let me just say this is one of the most beastly colognes in my collection, not just in terms of Sillage but in the note density within the blend. Supremacy NOI is closer to Hacivat but almost ruined Hacivat for me because SNOI is incapable of balancing the moss. The opening of Silver is even fishy.

I personally like that the EDT is sharper and more rugged than my old bottles of Aventus, but this LE version presents a more pleasing fruity profile that I will probably reach for more when it's hotter outside. While the Intense EDT was somewhat harsh in the opening the dry down was/is very nice -- a 3D version (interpretation) of 2016 Aventus in my estimation, this, the Limited Edition Parfum is much more balanced in the opening and reminds me of Aventus 2013/14 in the dry down... birch tar and smoke along with leather.

In a few words: A better rounded take on CDNIM that is more fruity, a tad more smoky, and still an affordable, fantastic compliment magnet oozing with masculinity. CDNIM EDT is almost disgusting during the opening. And while the drydown is similar to Aventus, it is much more simple, boring and mushy. You don't get much of anything but a rather dumbed down version of Aventus. It certainly is more smoky which is appreciated by some. And I would love a little bit more birch in my current Aventus bottle. Pros: Harsh opening is no longer an issue, still a fantastic scent for the price, more vibrant and refined experience than the EDT version. It's clear that CDNIMLE has an Aventus type of smell, but in the same way you can tell a fresh pizza from Naples Italy and a frozen pizza both taste like pizza. The biggest differences are that the florals, fruits, and some of the greener/earthy notes are toned down in CDNIMLE while the lemon, smoke, and pepper are ramped up. The quality of ingredients in Aventus also give it a much more natural and pleasant scent profile.
